Simple is in! This quick and easy breakfast consisted of about 6 tiny apples picked at the weekend, 2 tablespoons chia seeds soaked in water, a squeeze of lemon and a small piece of fresh ginger ~ blended til smooth.
I live in Brighton, 'Raw Capital' of the UK in a house near the sea and the Downs. I first discovered Raw Food in 1999, and have been high raw (90%+) for over 4 years.
Although i eat very simply now, i have always loved playing with food, and i love getting together with friends and family in celebration of anything & everything! So when i get creative in the kitchen i like to replicate familiar cooked dishes that will win over tastebuds and encourage anyone that raw really can be fun & exciting! I have a special passion for making Raw Cakes. Each cake is a unique creative expression, infused with love & joy. I do the odd bit of raw catering and organise regular raw potlucks in Brighton. Life is sweet.
